1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Longstories website (https://longstories.ai), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Description of Service
Longstories provides an AI video-generation service (“Service”). By submitting your information and content, you authorize us to generate videos and related outputs on your behalf.
3. YouTube Integration
Our Service uses YouTube API Services. By using our YouTube integration features, you explicitly agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
You acknowledge that your use of YouTube features through our Service is subject to YouTube's policies and terms. You can review these at any time on YouTube's website.
You can manage and revoke our access to your YouTube account through your Google Security Settings.
4. Your Inputs and Generated Output
You retain ownership of the text, images, audio, video, and other materials you submit to the Service (“Inputs”), subject to any rights you grant us to operate the Service.
As between you and Longstories, and to the extent permitted by applicable law and third-party provider terms, you own the generated videos, images, audio, scripts, captions, and other materials produced for you by the Service (“Output”).
You are solely responsible for all Inputs and all Output you create, request, publish, distribute, license, sell, or otherwise use through the Service.
5. User Obligations
- You agree to use the Service for lawful purposes.
- You are solely responsible for all content you submit to the Service and all content generated from your requests.
- You represent and warrant that you have all rights, licenses, consents, and permissions needed to submit your Inputs and to create, use, and distribute your Output.
- You must review all Output before using or sharing it and make your own judgment about whether it is lawful, safe, accurate, non-infringing, and appropriate.
- You agree to comply with YouTube's terms and policies when using YouTube features.
- You will not attempt to circumvent any limitations or restrictions imposed by YouTube or our Service.
6. Prohibited Content
You agree not to use our Service to create, upload, or distribute any content that:
- Is sexually explicit, pornographic, fetishistic, or depicts nudity in a sexualized context
- Depicts, sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors, or presents anyone who may reasonably appear to be a minor in a sexualized context
- Depicts or promotes violence, gore, or cruelty towards people or animals
- Contains hate speech, discrimination, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
- Promotes terrorism, extremism, or illegal activities
- Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
- Contains defamatory, libelous, or fraudulent material
- Violates any applicable laws or regulations
Longstories may investigate, block, refuse to generate, remove, disable access to, or report content if we believe it violates these Terms, our policies, applicable law, or third-party provider rules. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or egregiously violate this policy, without refund.
7. AI Output Disclaimer
The Service uses artificial intelligence and automated systems. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, offensive, unexpected, infringing, or unlawful, even if it appears otherwise.
Longstories does not endorse, verify, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any Input or Output. We are not obligated to pre-screen, monitor, or review content, though we may do so in our discretion.
You assume all risk arising from creating, relying on, publishing, distributing, or otherwise using any Output.
If the Service generates Output that violates these Terms or your instructions, including sexual or otherwise prohibited content, you are still solely responsible for not using, publishing, or distributing that Output.
8. Data Collection and Privacy
We collect personal data necessary to provide our Service, including YouTube channel data when you connect your account. For details about how we handle your data, including YouTube-specific data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
9. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Longstories, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your Inputs, your Output, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Longstories disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or uninterrupted operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Longstories will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or content, arising out of or related to the Service, any Inputs, any Output, or these Terms, even if we were advised such damages were possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Longstories' total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of 100 EUR or the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Your continued use of the Service indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.
